Abstract:
To manufacture a hollow stabilizer, increased in strength of a curved part of an arm by improving the strength and sealing performance of fitting parts formed at both end parts of the hollow stabilizer.
An insert member 10 continuously formed to have the same sectional shape is inserted into a hollow part at both ends in a pipe raw material for the hollow stabilizer 1, and both end parts are plastic-worked to be flat, thereby forming the fitting parts 5. With the insert member 10 inserted in the interior of the pipe raw material, bending is performed in a range from the fitting part 5 to the position for fixing a bush 11 to form one or more curved parts 4.
