The hologram data degradation correction device 1 detects the recorded data on a hologram recording medium as the page data, removes the noise components contained in the reproduced images of the page data as read errors when detecting the recorded data, and corrects the degradation developed when recording or reproducing the data. It has a detector 3, a second divider 5, a selector 7, an error determining corrector 9, and a first divider 11.
