Title:
HOLOGRAPHIC SCREEN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2858743
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve contrast and to obtain an image with excellent quality by forming plural light absorption parts absorbing external light between projection parts.
SOLUTION: A holographic screen is provided with a Fresnel sheet 6, a holographic sheet 8 and the plural projection parts 4. The plural projection parts 4 are projectingly formed on the observation surface of the screen and shaped so as to be extended long in parallel with the vertical shaft of the sheet 8. Besides, the projection parts 4 are arrayed in the vertical direction of the screen by leaving a fixed gap. The sheet 8 is formed between the plural projection parts 4 and it includes the plural light absorption parts 14 absorbing the external light made incident on the observation surface from the outside of the screen. Namely, the absorption parts 14 are formed in order to prevent the contrast of a video from being deteriorated by the external light. By the absorption parts 14, the light made incident from the sheet 6 is actually scarcely transmitted through the observation surface.
