PURPOSE: To obtain a holster, capable of carrying secretly a billy club or the like as same as a shoulder type holster, simple in structure, light in weight, inexpensive in cost and free from troubles such as stiff shoulders and the like even when the billy is carried for a long period of time.

CONSTITUTION: The title holster is provided with a holster main body 10, provided with at least one of shaft penetrating hole on the side rim of the tubular section 12 of the holster, into which a billy club 1 and the like are inserted, and a holster retaining device 11, having a belt engaging part 17 at the lower part thereof and provided with an upwardly extending supporting plate provided with at least one piece of shaft penetrating hole 19, while the holster main body is engaged with the holster retaining device 11 through a shaft 22 penetrated through both of shaft penetrating holes 15, 19. The holster retaining device 11 is mounted on the belt of waist while the holster body 10 is carried by retaining it below one's armpit.
