The home care unit comprises a floor unit 1 that can be installed in a room of an existing building; equipment units 2, 3 connectable to the floor unit and comprising desired equipment; wall units 4 connectable to the floor unit or the equipment unit; and a water supply/discharge unit 5 allowing the supply/discharge of water to/from the desired equipment provided at the equipment unit. The construction method of the care space comprises arranging the floor unit and the equipment unit on the floor in the existing room, connecting the adjacent edges to constitute a floor face, connecting the wall units to the edge of the optional floor unit or equipment unit, connecting the edges of the adjacent wall units to form a wall surface, and installing the water supply/discharge unit at the wall unit.
