PURPOSE: To obtain the expandability and to save labor at the time of wiring, installation and additional installation by giving plural RMCs (room monitor controller) incorporated with the control function suitable for each room, disposing and controlling them in the decentralized way and connecting them to an in-house information transmission line (home bus) so as to realize the centralized control.
CONSTITUTION: An RMC1 is dispersed and arranged in each room if necessary, and constituted of a host computer 50 and interface unit IFU26. The host computer 50 is constituted of an output port having a driver part for controlling home electrical appliances, an output port for display, an input port for fetching input information, a ROM having programs for control and a CPU for processing said programs. The data received by the RMC is converted into parallel data through the IFU26. During this conversion the IFU26 collates an address, checks errors, decodes a control code, etc, which is handed over to the host computer 50 in a hand-shake mode.
