Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for homogenizing a molecular weight distribution of a polymer material, by which a polymer material such as gelatin and collagen in an aqueous solution is formed into a lower molecular material by which an aqueous solution of the polymer is jetted from a nozzle having a small diameter communicated to a pressurizing part for pressurizing the polymer solution.
SOLUTION: This method for homogenizing a molecular weight distribution of a polymer material is a method for lowering the molecular weight of the polymer material included in an aqueous solution of the polymer material. A molecular weight distribution of the polymer material is homogenized by inserting the aqueous polymer solution 3 containing the polymer material such as gelatin and collagen in a charging tank 4, thereafter pressurizing the charging tank 4 driving a compressor 1 and charging air through an air charging valve 2 and regulator 5 to the charging tank 7 while confirming the air pressure by a pressure gauge 6, charging the polymer aqueous solution 3 through check valve 8 to the interior of a cylinder in a pressure converter 12, closing a ultra high pressure relief valve 13, opening a fluid-extruding valve 10, driving a ultra high pressure pump 15 and jetting the polymer solution 3 in the cylinder from a small diameter nozzle 11 communicated to the pressurizing part at a high speed to monogenize the molecular weight distribution of the polymer material.
