Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb catalytic body in which zeolite is included as catalyst, and degradation of the zeolite by sulfur and breakage of the zeolite by water absorption and desorption can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A honeycomb catalytic body includes a honeycomb structural part having a barrier 9 that block-forms two or more cells becoming a fluid channel extending from a first edge face that is one edge face to a second edge face that is the other edge face, and is that the barrier 9 includes a base part layer 11 including 50-90 mass% of zeolite, and a coat layer 15 that coats a surface of the base part layer 11 by a thickness of 1-50 μm, and the coat layer 15 is a coat layer (A) including 1-5 mass% of vanadia and titania, or a coat layer (B) including 1-5 mass% of vanadia and a complex oxide of titania and tungsten oxide.
