Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb structure which is excellent in adsorption performance of HC and is less likely to be damaged in use.SOLUTION: There is provided a honeycomb structure comprising a honeycomb fired body in which a plurality of through holes are arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction at a distance from partition walls, wherein the honeycomb fired body comprises an extrusion-molded body containing a Cu-containing β type zeolite and an inorganic binder and when the state of Cu is analyzed by performing the H-TPR measurement of the honeycomb structure at a temperature of 25 to 1000°C, the maximum peak is present at a temperature of 800°C or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
