Abstract:
To provide a honing apparatus capable of suppressing formation of irregularity on an inner peripheral surface of a cylinder.SOLUTION: In a honing apparatus 10, the oscillation center of a grindstone 16 and a grindstone holder 17 is arranged at a center of two contacting sites of a taper member 30 and 31 and a shoe 18 in an axial direction. By this, during direction inversion of a reciprocating motion of the grindstone 16, a load applied to the grindstone 16 can be evenly dispersed to the two contacting sites. As a result, behaviors of the grindstone 16 become stable, and formation of irregularity on an inner peripheral surface of a cylinder can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
