Abstract:
To carry out honing work without deforming a cylinder bore inner surface by pressing a grindstone on the cylinder bore surface by stable pressure.
Oil in a hydraulic cylinder is confined by closing a solenoid valve 41 after pressing the grindstone 31 on a cylinder liner 5 by driving the hydraulic cylinder 25 to advance and stabilizing it by pressure not deforming the cylinder liner 5. An electromagnet 47 is electrified, suction work is displayed against the cylinder liner 5 made of gray cast iron the integral grindstone 31 is moved toward the cylinder liner 5 and pressed on it through the electromagnet 47 and a connecting block 23.
