Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a honing jig which is small, light, simple in structure and applicable to a transfer type honing machine and an automatic honing system capable of high precision automatic honing.
CONSTITUTION: A work W held by a honing jig 15 is made to oscillate in the three dimensional direction by floating structure of the honing jig 15, and a follow-up property of the work W against a honing tool is secured. Installation and removal work of the work W on and from the honing jig 15 is automatically carried out by a work carry-in-and-out robot, and after the work W is supported by a support bar 40a of a work holder 27 from the upper side free to rotate, this work W is rotated and is set by way of engaging it to a ball plunger in resilience.
