PURPOSE: To enable the inner and outer circumferential surfaces of a tubular work to be simulteneously honed.

CONSTITUTION: Both a guide 3 and a grinding wheel 4 for the inner circumferential surface are provided symmetrically with respect to the axis for the tip end section of a mandrel 2 which is the main body of a honing tool performing the inner surface work of a tubular work 1. A grinding wheel fixing base 5 is mounted to the intermediate outer circumferential section of the mandrel 2 in such a way that it can be rotated at the rotating speed same as that of the mandrel 2, and also can be freely moved up and down. A grinding wheel 6 in a ring shape for the outer circumferential surface is anchored to the lower surface of the grinding wheel fixing base 5.
