Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide honing work technology capable of shortening working cycle time and carrying out precise slitting control of a honing grindstone in forcible slitting (quantitative) working type honing work.
SOLUTION: Slitting quantity of the honing grindstone 10 is controlled in accordance with a measured measuring value by measuring torque T of the honing grindstone 10 or both of the torque T and cutting thrust force P in the forcible slitting (quantitative) working type honing work. Consequently, it is possible to automatically and certainly carry out detection of a boundary point to start a honing work process from a speedy extension process of the honing grindstone 10, to shorten working cycle time of the honing work and to precisely control slitting motion of the honing grindstone 10 in the honing work process.
