To provide a hood opening/closing device capable of easily opening and closing a battery hood or an engine hood and disposed on the outside of the hood but not exposed to the outside of the hood.

This hood opening device 28 comprises a rotating lever 58 formed integrally with the hood 10 and extending rearward of the rotating axis of the hood when the hood is in the closed state and an energizing means disposed between a battery storage part 20 and a counterweight 22 and energizing the rotating lever 58 downward. The energizing means further comprises a fluid pressure damper 30 and a link member. With this structure, the hood opening device is disposed in a space between a battery storage part and a counterweight on the outside of the hood and not exposed to the outside of the hood.
