Abstract:
To provide a hood lock device requiring an installation space small in thickness and capable of securing a large under-hood space.
A secondary lock device 2 comprising a hooking section 8 secured on a vehicle body, a secondary clutch 9 which is turnably installed on the tip end of the hood and is turned for hooking/unhooking the clutch 9 on/from the hooking section 8 and an operation lever 10 which is installed on the rear face of the hood and is turned for turning the secondary clutch 9 in the direction of unhooking the clutch 9 from the hooking section 8. The operation lever 10 can be turned around a vertical pin 19 in the state that the hood is closed.
