Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress interference of a parting part by restricting a side portion of a hood from being deflected inward.SOLUTION: A hood support structure 1 for an automobile includes a fender 2 provided at the side of a vehicle body and a hood 3 formed by a downward-bent side portion 31. The hood support structure 1 includes a fender bracket 5 as a fixed portion arranged on a frame member 4 of the vehicle body and a cushion member 6 fixed to an upper portion of the fender bracket 5. The hood 3 is arranged such that a parting part 8 is provided between an upper portion of the fender 2 and a lower portion of the side portion 31. An inclined portion 64 formed at an upper portion of the cushion member 6 is configured such that an outer portion in the vehicle width direction extends downward compared to an inner portion in the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
