To provide a hood for working which is a mask, a hood or the like usable for the main purpose of sunshade, insect repellent, dust guard or the like, which provides excellent portability and attachability, and which has a new structure capable of being suitably utilized in midsummer and severe winter seasons; and to provide a new method for producing the hood.

The hood 1 for working is obtained by opening a window 5 for eyes at the center of sewed parts of a face-covering cloth 2 and a cloth 3 for covering the top of the head, sewing a cloth 4 covering the back of the head to the back side edges of the cloth 3 for covering the top of the head, sewing the right and left edges at the upper sides so as to form a hood shape, stretching a rubber string 7 for the top of the head on proper positions of the cloth 3 for covering the top of the head, and sewing each one terminal of a pair of bands 8 and 8 for hatbands to right and left right places.
