Abstract:
To provide a hook for a safety belt that brings no uncomfortable feeling in use as compared with a conventional hook and is small-sized as much as possible, while having a large opening size.SOLUTION: A hook 1 for a safety belt includes: an unciform hook body 2, the whole of which has a tabular shape, the hook body having a locking side opening 3; a stopper 4 coupled in front of a connection hole 9 provided on the hook body 2's lower part to be coupled to a life rope or the like so that the stopper is movable between a closed position for closing the locking side opening 3 from the inside and an opening position for opening the locking side opening; an opening/closing lever 5 coupled behind the connection hole 9 and on the hook body 2's lower part so as to be movable between a first position of making the stopper 4 be at the closed position and a second position of making the stopper be at the opening position; and a lock release lever 6 coupled from behind the hook body 2 so as to be movable between a locked position for fixing the opening/closing lever 5 at the first position and a release position for allowing movement of the opening/closing lever 5. The stopper 4 and the opening/closing lever 5 are coupled via a link member 7 so as to be capable of interlocking with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
