Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable folding of a shade cloth easily by simple mechanism.
SOLUTION: A roman shade comprises a head box on front side of which a hook-and-loop fastener 1a is arranged and a shade cloth 3 provided with a hook-and-loop fastener that is engaged with the front hook-and-loop fastener. A tape 4 on which a male hook 5 and a female hook 6 are arranged with predetermined intervals alternately is attached to a backside of the shade cloth 3 parallel along both side-edge in longitudinal direction. An end of a cord 9 for up and down operation is fixed near the bottom end of the shade cloth and an operation part at the other end of the cord is arranged on one side of the shade cloth. The shade cloth is folded by engaging the male and female hooks arranged in parallel on both sides on the tape at desired intervals and rolled up by operating the up and down operation cord.
