PURPOSE: To prevent a hoop material, which is fed intermittently a length by length in the longitudinal direction, from excessive strokes by using a sphere of hoop material having a greater dia. than a pilot holes provided at a certain spacing in the longitudinal direction as a return preventive pawl.

CONSTITUTION: A block 16 within the basis 12 of a feeder device 10 of hoop material 100 is installed with slidability in the feed direction of the hoop material 100. One end of a supporting member 18 in this block 16 is energized with rotatability and the other end energized upward by a spring 20. The oversurface 22a of a feed pawl 22 installed on this spring 20 is protruded within a pilot hole 100a of the hoop material 100. A spring is set at rollers at the ends of the basis 12 and energized in the direction shown by arrow. A rod-shaped can 28 in contact with the rollers 24 is moved up and down, and the feed pawl 22 is interlocked to feed the hoop material 100 intermittently. The tip of a return preventive pawl 30 on the upstream shall be a sphere 30a greater than the dia. of the pilot hole 100a and inserted therein by spring 32. This prevents the hoop material 100 from excessive or short feeding.
