To provide a hopper provided with a smoothing mechanism capable of greatly saving the labor and time required for loading and smoothing work when a conveyance body such as a dump truck, etc., is loaded with such objects to be conveyed as sediment and the like for the purpose of carrying out them.

The hopper is provided with a main body (11) and the smoothing mechanism. Such object to be conveyed as sediment and the like are stored in the body (11), from which the stored objects to be conveyed are dropped through a door free to be opened/closed, which is formed in the bottom part of the body (11), on the downward conveyance body such as the dump truck and the like. The smoothing mechanism is provided with contact parts (25, etc.) made to contact the objects to be conveyed, which are dropped from the bottom part of the body (11) and accumulated on the conveyance body, a moving mechanism (a part of 20) for moving the contact parts (25, etc.) backward and forward, and a remote control part (14) of the moving mechanism (the part of 20) in order to smooth the objects to be conveyed, which are accumulated on the conveyance body.
