A storage groove 2 for forming a ladder cord in a mold comprises first and second warp grooves 3a, 3b containing the ladder cord warp, a weft groove 4 communicated to the first and second warp grooves and containing the ladder cord weft, and pitch forming means 3a, 3b for forming different pitches in the weft groove 4 for the first warp groove 3a and the weft groove 4 for the second warp groove 3b.
