PURPOSE: To enhance the assembly accuracy and reduce costs by making a bobbin for horizontal winding in the form of ring-shaped fragments generated through dividing with a plane perpendicular to the tube axis direction, and butting the edges of these fragments to accomplish a single piece construction.
CONSTITUTION: A horizontal bobbin for horizontal winding assumes fragments generated by dividing with dividing parts 19, 21 situated in a plane perpendicular to the tube axis (Z-axis) and is composed of a screen part 23, intermediate part, and neck part 27. The butting edges of these dividing parts have small wall thickness 29 and have a complementary form to allow yielding a consolidated structure when assembled. The dividing may produce only two fragments. The screen part 23, intermediate part 25, and neck part 27 of this horizontal bobbin are provided with ribs 37, 39, 41 for forming respective slots 31, 33, 35. A plurality of hooks 43, 45 for winding a horizontal deflection winding are formed at the screen end and the neck end, respectively. The horizontal winding is embodied in saddle winding through utilization of these hooks and slots.
