Abstract:
A horizontal type liquid conveying and vertical type press-injection cold chamber die casting machine, comprising a horizontal type liquid conveying device (300) and a vertical type press-injection device (400), wherein the horizontal type liquid conveying device comprises a transverse press-injection melting cup (310) and a transverse press-injection puncher pin (320); the transverse press-injection puncher pin pushes out metal liquid from the transverse press-injection melting cup; the vertical type press-injection device comprises a vertical press-injection melting cup (410) and a vertical press-injection puncher pin (420); the vertical press-injection melting cup receives the metal liquid transferred from the transverse press-injection melting cup; and the vertical press-injection puncher pin presses and injects the metal liquid from the vertical press-injection melting cup to a die casting cavity (501) of a casting die (500). And disclosed is a horizontal type liquid conveying and vertical type press-injection squeeze casting method. According to the die casting machine and the casting method, time needed by an inclined type butt-joint press-injection mechanism is saved, the conveying speed of the metal liquid is higher, the temperature drop is reduced, the trend towards generating a condensation layer is small, instant pressurization is conducted after the cavity is full, a squeezing function is achieved, so that a squeeze casting has few pores, mechanical properties are excellent, thus the squeeze casting can be subjected to T6 treatment and welding, strength and ductility of the squeeze casting are improved, and small weight of the part is achieved.
