Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify a connecting and fixing mechanism by executing the connections between a looper car in a horizontal looper and a strip supporting carriage and between the mutual strip supporting carriages and the fixing of each strip supporting carriage to the prescribed position.
CONSTITUTION: The mutually adjoining strip supporting carriages 3a, 3a' can be connected with magnet forces of magnets 6, 6'. Further, a ground side stopper 7a for fixing the carriage at the prescribed fixing position in each strip supporting carriage and a carriage side fixed stopper 8' for the strip supporting carriage to be fixed at this position, are arranged so as to face at the same height, and in the carriage side fixed stopper 8', a magnet 9' for fixing the carriage is arranged as facing to the ground side stopper 7a. In this case, to the facing surfaces of the ground side stopper 7a and the magnet 9' for fixing, magnetic materials are stuck, but the stopper 7a itself is constituted with magnetic material, and then, the strip supporting carriage 3a' is fixed at the prescribed position with the magnetic force of magnet 9' so as not to shift to any direction.
