PURPOSE: To make it possible to facilitate the piping of a device and to aim at enhancing the vibration characteristic thereof, by arranging a suction pipe and a discharge pipe piercing through side walls along the center axis of a closed container.
CONSTITUTION: A suction pipe 4 is directly coupled to a compressing element 2, piercing through a side wall 21 along the center axis of a closed container 1. Meanwhile, a discharge pipe 5 is opened to a motor element side container 3, piercing through a side wall 31. The positions of the suction pipe 4 and the discharge pipe 5 which pierce through the closed container 1 secured to a vibration damping rubber 9 through the intermediary of attaching legs 8, are in the vicinity of the center axis of a rotary shaft 11. Accordingly, vibration which is a large component in the rotating direction among the vibrations of the compressor is not transmitted to the suction pipe 4 and the discharge pipe 5 to restrain vibration from being transmitted to the device body from the pipe line system. Thus, it is possible to facilitate the piping for the device and to enhance the vibration characteristic.
