To provide a horizontal rotary drying machine capable of increasing the processing amount of dried objects by further improving drying efficiency by efficiently drying the dried objects accumulated on a bottom section of a rotary cylinder.
A rotary steam drier 1 comprises the rotary cylinder 10 rotatable around a shaft center C, and a heating pipe 11 positioned in the rotary cylinder 10 for communicating the steam. A gas injection pipe 71 capable of injecting a stirring gas K into the rotary cylinder 10 while guiding the stirring gas K, is disposed on a position along an inner peripheral face of the rotary cylinder 10. A rotary connection pipe 72 connected with the gas injection pipe 71 at its one end, is disposed at an inner peripheral side of a steam supply pipe 61 and a drainage discharge pipe 62 respectively connected with the heating pipe 11. The other end side of the rotary connection pipe 72 is connected with a rotary joint 63, and the other end side of a part corresponding to the rotary connection pipe 72, of the rotary joint 63 is connected to a gas supply source 73 through an air pipe 74.
