Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal shaft pump with a simplified configuration and being easy to do a pump maintenance work and/or a component additional work.SOLUTION: A horizontal shaft pump 1 comprises: a pump part 2 having a centrifugal impeller, a rotation axis connected to the centrifugal impeller, and a pump casing 2A accommodating the centrifugal impeller; a motor part 3 including the rotation axis of the pump part connected to via a coupling part; and a base part 4 on which the pump part and the motor part are fixed. The base part includes: a base body 4A on which the pump casing is fixed; and a first upper plate 4B and a second upper plate 4C disposed on the top face of the base body and being movable in an axial direction with respect to the base body and movable in the axial direction with each other. The horizontal shaft pump is configured so that the rotation axis of the pump part is fixed in the axial direction with respect to the first upper plate and the rotation axis of the motor part is fixed in the axial direction with respect to the second upper plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
