Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent large fluctuation in an oscillation frequency of a voltage controlled oscillator during a vertical blanking period and after the end of the vertical blanking period.
SOLUTION: A frequency comparison section 2000 detects whether or not an oscillation frequency fVXO of a voltage controlled oscillator 100 is within a predetermined frequency range based on an oscillation frequency fVIO of a reference oscillation source 600, frequency detection output signals APCOH, APCOL are fed to a low pass filter 500 in place of error output signals (a), (b), for a vertical blanking period by switches 10, 20 and an output signal of the low pass filter 500 is fed back to the voltage controlled oscillator 100 as a control voltage.
