Abstract:
A transverse-mounted membrane filtration apparatus includes an air diffuser device 10 being disposed at a surface, into which a treated water flows, of a gas-feeding port with a predetermined distance and admixing air to the treated water. The air diffuser device 10 includes a shelf-shaped member 11 separated into a plurality of regions along a vertical direction by a plurality of shelf boards 11a to 11i arranged along the vertical direction. The shelf boards 11a to 11i are inclined toward a side of a surface, into which the treated water flows, of the ceramic membrane module in a vertically upper direction. Hereby the air can be fed to an entire surface of the ceramic membrane module.
