PURPOSE: To provide a horizontal type incinerator which is constituted to prevent the occurrence of an accident, such as a fire, even when a substance to be incinerated, such as foamed styrol, fire of which lasts long is burnt, and suppress the generation of black smoke and soot owing to deficiency in an air amount.
CONSTITUTION: A number of blow holes 21 through which primary combustion air is fed in an incinerator are formed on the inner wall part, containing at least an incinerating floor 14, of an incinerator body 12. An air introduction port 30 through which secondary combustion air is fed in the incinerator is connected to the side portion of a charge port 20 formed in the incinerator body 12. Secondary combustion air is forcibly fed in the incinerator through the air introduction passage port 30.
