PURPOSE: To improve the performance by reducing a top clearance volume while suppressing the rise of the cost by increasing the number of part items, in a lateral type compressor which requires an independent oil feeding device.

CONSTITUTION: Between an auxiliary bearing 3 and a cylinder 4, a sheet form member 7 having a discharge port 10 is provided. To the sheet form member 7, a discharge valve 11 to open and close the discharge port 10 is installed. The auxiliary bearing 3 has a discharge hole corresponding to the discharge port 10 of the sheet form member 7. A blade groove 8 at the lower part of the cylinder 4 is blocked by the sheet form member 7, and the blade groove 8, and a blade reciprocating in the blade groove 8, compose a blade pump device to compress a lubricating oil stayed at the bottom of a sealed case from an oil feed hole 15 of the sheet form member 7 to a crankshaft side through an oil feed pipe 14.
