Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal-type surface-mounted coil component capable of securing a creepage distance required between a core and a terminal and attaining reduction in height by reducing a height dimension of a terminal mounting part.SOLUTION: A horizontal-type surface-mounted coil component 10 comprises a bobbin in which a terminal mounting part 15 is formed with a terminal 14 planted in an end portion, in an axial line direction of a cylindrical winding part 13 around which coils 11, 12 are wound; and a core 16 surrounding an outer periphery of the bobbin for forming a closed magnetic path, and is surface-mounted on a surface of the terminal mounting part 15 opposing a circuit board as a bottom face 15a. The terminal 14 protrudes from an end face 19a of the terminal mounting part 15 located between the core 16 and the bottom face 15a in an axial line direction and is formed while being bent closer to the circuit board, and the end face 19a where the terminal 14 protrudes is formed from a slope inclined from a side of the core 16 to a side of the bottom face 15a successively inside of the axial line direction.
