Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horn control device capable of improving the anti-theft performance of a horn device itself.SOLUTION: A horn control device is provided on a vehicle having a horn device which comprises two horns outputting warning sound, a first switch supplying drive electric power to the horns, and wire harnesses electrically interconnecting the first switch and the horns. The horn control device comprises a constant current circuit supplying a constant current for disconnection detection to each of the two horns via the wire harness, and a disconnection detection circuit which monitors output voltage of the constant current circuit to determine existence or nonexistence of disconnection in the wire harnesses, and when detecting the disconnection in the wire harnessed, turns on the first switch to supply the drive electric power to the wire harnesses. Between the two horns, the horn connected to the wire harness having no disconnection is supplied with the drive electric power to output the warning sound from the horn.
