Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fairly run race horses at all the gates of a horse starting machine.
SOLUTION: In a rear door of each of the gates in this horse starting machine, a rear door opening device driving to open the rear door is arranged. Before a start, the respective race horses are guided into the gates from the rear doors, while front doors of the respective gates are closed and the rear doors are opened. Then, the rear doors are closed. In the start, when a starter turns on a starting switch 37, a control part 36 operates front door opening devices in the respective gates for opening the front doors of the respective gates at once, and at the same time or just after/before the operation, the rear door opening devices in the respective gates are operated for opening the rear doors of the respective gates at once. In this way, if there is a race horse having its tail clamped by the rear door, the tail of the race horse can be released from the rear door in the start. Consequently, the race horses at all the gates can be started fairly.
