Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide horticultural scissors which can grasp cut pieces without enlarging the horticultural scissors, by disposing an auxiliary tool having a U-shape cross section to cover the first blade and grasping the cut pieces between the second blade and the side walls of the auxiliary tool.
SOLUTION: The horticultural scissors comprise the first half body 10 and the second half body 12 which are openably bound to each other on a support shaft 14. The first half body 10 comprises the first blade 16 and the first handle 18, and the second half body 12 also comprises the second blade 20 and the second handle 22. An auxiliary tool 24 having a U-shaped cross section is disposed to cover the first blade 16. The auxiliary tool 24 comprises a pair of side walls 26, 28 and a connection portion 30. When a branch and leaves are nipped with the horticultural scissors, the branch and leaves 50 are firmly held with the second blade 20 and the tips of a pair of the side walls 26, 28, and then cut. The cut pieces 52 are nipped and held between the side walls 28 and the second blade 20.
