Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a hose clamp which can hold a cylindrical band main body in the expanded condition without any separately independent clamping metal fitting and to provide a hose connecting device using the hose clamp which is extremely easy of handling.
CONSTITUTION: A first free end 11 of a cylindrical band main body 10 possessing spring elasticity is provided with an outside engaging part 111 forming an outside overlapping part 111b, a notch hole 111c formed in the outside engaging part 111 and extending in the circumference direction, and an arm part 112 extending in the circumferential direction toward the tip side via a standing part. extending from a base part 111d of the outside engaging part, ill in the radius direction. The second free end 12 is provided with an inside engaging part 121, which forms an inside overlapping part 121a, and an engaging projection part 121b, which extends from the inside engaging part 121 in the radius direction outward and is inserted into the notch hole 111c arranged in the outside engaging part 111, so that the arm part 112 is elastically locked in the engaging projection part 121b when the diameter of the cylindrical band main body 10 is expanded, and as a result, the cylindrical band main body 10 can be held in the expanded diameter condition.
