PURPOSE: To make it possible to form the inside surface of a hose to a smooth surface and to prevent the peeling or exposure from coating of a resin coated reinforcing wire by spirally winding the reinforcing wire on the outer side of an inside layer consisting of an extrusion molded tube which is cooled and coating the outer side thereof with an outer layer consisting of an extrusion molded tube.

CONSTITUTION: The hose 1 for an electric vacuum cleaner has the inside layer 2 consisting of the extrusion molded tube made of a soft polyvinyl chloride(PVC) resin and is spirally wound with the resin coated reinforcing wire 3 on the outer side thereof. The outer side of the wire is coated with the outside layer 4 consisting of the extrusion molded tube made of the soft PVC resin. At this time, the inside layer 2 and the outside layer 4 are thermally fused exclusive of the part where the reinforcing wire 3 is interposed. The reinforcing wire 3 consists of a synthetic resin coating 7 formed by integrally enclosing a coated conductor 5 consisting of a coated steel wire and a hard steel wire 6. The reinforcing wire is fused to the outside layer 4 but is held unadhered with the inside layer 2. Since the inside surface of the inside layer 2 is smooth according thereto, the suction resistance of air is lowered and disturbance is prevented.
