Title:
HOSE JOINT, HOSE JOINT FORMING METHOD AND HOSE CONNECTION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06337086
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of leakage at the time of connecting a hose without requiring a deburring process, or improving mold precision by applying the constitution where a mounted section with a hose connected to the external side thereof is formed out of an end shaft section, a tapered bulge section gradually increased in diameter toward a base end, and a base end shaft section respectively in order from an end.

CONSTITUTION: A hose joint 10 has a mounted section 14 linearly projected from a body 12 for connecting a hose to the external side thereof. In this case, the section 14 is formed out of an end shaft section 16, a tapered bulge section 18, and a base end shaft section 20 having the same diameter as the end shaft section 16, respectively in order from a forward end to a base end. The tapered bulge section 18 is formed to have a taper with diameter gradually increased toward the base end. A passage 22 is formed through the section 14 and the body 12 along the center line of the section 14. This hose joint 10 forms the external surface of the body 12 and the base end shaft section 20 with a split mold, while the external surface of the section 18, the edge of the section 16 and the passage 22 are formed with a trimming die laid adjacent to the split mold. As a result, forming can be made without any bur at the end shaft section 16, and a gap with a hose due to a bur at the time of connection can be eliminated to prevent leakage.
