Abstract:

To make various electric machinery and apparatus for assisting the operation of fire fighting usable and chargeable in a fire theater where a hose layer is used.

A hose layer 1 is equipped with a body 2, at least a pair of driving wheels 3, a driving means to rotate and drive these paired driving wheels 3, a steering handle 5, and a hose mounting space 10 being free of mounting a fire-fighting hose, respectively. In addition, a power-supply unit 18 for operating the aforesaid various electric machinery and apparatus is installed in this hose layer 1. This power-supply unit 18 is freely chargeable in a selective manner by any of a commercial AC power source, or a generator otherwise or a storage battery and, what is more, either of AC voltage or DC voltage is selectively suppliable to the aforesaid electric machinery and apparatus.
