Abstract:
To provide a hose reversing apparatus capable of being installed in a narrow space such as a manhole, and capable of surely allowing a hose to enter a pipe, and a hose reversing method.SOLUTION: A hose reversing apparatus 106 for allowing a hose 120 to enter a gap 110 of a pipeline 102 using a pressurized fluid while reversing the hose, is provided with: a pressure vessel 124 into which the pressurized fluid is introduced; an emission port 126 provided on a tip end of the pressure vessel, and for emitting the hose while reversing it; an introduction port 128 provided on a rear end of the pressure vessel, and for drawing in the hose from outside the vessel; and a forwarding mechanism 136 provided inside the pressure vessel, and for forwarding the hose drawn in from the introduction port toward the emission port; a pipe-shaped rod 200 inserted from outside the introduction port to a point over the forwarding mechanism; and a string 202 passed through the rod and forming, outside a tip end 204 of the rod, a loop into which an unreversed portion 120a of the hose is passed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
