PURPOSE: To produce hose which contains synthetic fiber, but shows excellent moisture absorbance and fast drying properties.

CONSTITUTION: Core yarn prepared by winding a yarn around the outer periphery of a hollow fiber is used in the whole or a part of the hose wherein the hollow fiber is made of a fiber-forming polymer and substantially has a C-shaped cross section, while the winding yarn is prepared from cotton fiber. The hollow fiber is produced by forming a sheath-core conjugated fiber comprising the sheath component of fiber-forming polymer having a substantially C-shaped cross section and the core component removable by dissolution, then thinning the conjugated fiber in the core part.
