Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the hosiery having good heat insulating effects by mix spinning polyurethane elastic fiber containing a metallic oxide such as alumina and platinum as essential components therein.
CONSTITUTION: The objective hosiery is obtained by mixing 2-5% one more metallic oxides selected from alumina, silica and titania (preferably powdery metallic oxides having ≤1μm particle size) and platinum (preferably colloidal platinum having 7-40&angst particle size) as essential components together with an oxide of calcium, zinc or the like in polyurethane elastic fiber and mix spinning ≥2% resultant polyurethane elastic fiber therein.
