PURPOSE: To provide a highly safe hot-air blanket which is comfortable to sleep, and which can be washed in a washing machine, by providing a bag-like blanket body having an air inlet part and an air outlet part, and a hot air unit for feeding hot air into the bag-like blanket body, and a controller for controlling the hot air unit.
CONSTITUTION: When a power source switch on a controller 27 is turned on, a fan motor and a heater in a hot air unit 20 are energized so as to produce hot air which is fed from the hot air unit 20 into a back-like part of a blanket body 11, and is then jetted from air inlet holes 18 so as to be diffused into a futon. Accordingly, the user is warmed up. With this arrangement, it is possible to warm up the user with no provision of a heater wire in the blanket body, thereby it is possible to enhance the safety and to wash the blanket in a washing machine.
