Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent dirt from sticking to a material to be coated in a hot air drying furnace where the material to be coated on which an electrodeposition coating film has been formed is dried and cured.
CONSTITUTION: In a hot air drying furnace body 10 in which a material to be coated W on which an electrodeposition coating film has been formed is carried by a conveyor 15, a dirt adsorption sheet 21 is arranged on the surface of a floor part of the body. The dirt adsorption sheet 21 is arranged in an area covering at least a third of the drying furnace body 10 from the carry-in end on the carry-in side of the drying furnace body 10. In a process where the material is carried in the area, the viscosity of the electrodeposition coating film formed on the surface of the material to be coated is relatively low and dirt is prevented from flying high from the surface of a floor part 11. Then, the dirt flying high in this area is prevented from sticking to the surface of the material to be coated and the quality of the surface of the material to be coated which has been dried and cured is improved.
