To provide a hot air generator capable of regulating the temperature of hot air and of a heating element without using a contact or non-contact type sensor and usable for a long period of time without performing periodical maintenance.

The hot air generator is constituted by providing a heating element 4 having a built-in heating wire, at an ejection part 2 of a case body 1 with the ejection part 2 for ejecting air, formed at one end 1a and with a suction port 3 taking in outside air, formed at the other end 1b, forming a front case 5 on the other end 1b side of the heating element 4, and disposing, in the front case 5, a blowing device 6 for sucking air from the suction port 3 and ejecting air from the ejection part 2. The cross-sectional area of the ejection part 2 provided with the heating element 4 inside is formed to be smaller than that of the front case 5 with the blowing device 6 disposed therein, and the other end 1b side of the front case 5 is provided with a control means 8 detecting the rotating speed of a motor 7 of the blowing device 6 to control energization of the heating element 4.
