Title:
HOT AIR HEATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01230957
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To extend the application range of a hot air heater and easily divert said heater to purposes other than heating which is the original object, by housing a combustion chamber which houses a burner inside a main body and connecting an outlet part which houses a fan to the upper part of a main body, and comprising an outlet part so that it may rotate freely at least vertically.

CONSTITUTION: When general indoor heating is carried out, heating operation starts after an outlet part 2 is rotated so that an outlet port 22 may be turned horizontally or slightly downward from a horizontal level. The combustion air of a gas burner 7 is forced to flow into a suction air channel 20→ a fan case 21→ an outlet port 22 from a discharge port 13 of a combustion chamber 8 by the rotation of a sirocco fan 19 fan. Due to this set up, indoor air is sucked up from a suction port 15 by way of a filter 4, then the sucked up air is partially supplied to a burner 7 as combustion air from an air suction port 14. A part of the combustion gas passes through the areas surrounding the combustion chamber 8 and sucked up into an air suction passage 20, then is discharged from the outlet port 22. On the other hand, when carrying out the purpose other than heating, i.e. drying hair or clothing, they can be performed comparatively easily by directing the outlet port 22 of the outlet part 2 upward.
