To provide a food service cart in which a mounting/ejecting system is eliminated in which a tray and a shutter are fitted to each other by sliding and push-up movements when a tray is mounted and discharged to and from a tray passage, and a magnet-type shutter opening/closing mechanism is introduced in which the shutter is moved up and down in advance in an interlocking manner with opening/closing of the doors.
Provided is a food service cart having a bidirectional shutter opening/closing mechanism that moves in an interlocking manner with opening/closing of front and back side doors. In the mechanism, when magnets or magnetic metal provided in a door side packing and a swing part to be in close contact with a partition face part having no projections or penetrating bodies in an interlocking manner with opening/closing of a shutter on a surface thereof, by opening/closing of the door, enter or exit mutual magnetic fields, a spring between the swing part and the partition face part is urged or released to make the swing part openable and closable, to move a guide rod in an interlocking manner with the swing part in left and right directions. The guide rod and the shutter are connected by a string via a string roller, and the shutter is lifted up and down in advance in an interlocking manner with the opening/closing of the door for mounting and discharging a tray, allowing mounting and discharging of the tray without fitting scratches due to sliding and push-up movements between the tray and the shutter.
