To provide a hot-isotropic pressure pressing apparatus (HIP apparatus) with which a quenching treatment is performed or a worker can safely handle a treating product and the cooling to the temperature range of ≤100°C can efficiently be performed.
This apparatus is provided with a cylindrical casing 6 with the bottom which can hold the treating products 9 and a resistant wire heating system heater 11 in the inner part of a vertical cylindrical high pressure vessel provided with a high pressure cylinder body 1 and an upper and a lower covers 2, 3, a heat-insulating structural body 16 of cylinder-shape with the bottom so as to cover this casing 6 and a valve 15 is disposed for adjusting the gas flow rate, and a heat sink 17 with a water-cooling mechanism is disposed in the space demarcated with this heat-insulating structural body 16 and the interval surface of the above high pressure cylindrical body 1. Further, a fan 12 for stirring the pressure-medium gas for promoting heat-uniformity in the space of a treating chamber 7 for holding the treating products 9, is disposed at the lower cover 3 side in the inner part of the above casing 6.
